We offer trainee programs for mining engineers specializing in mining, mineral resources engineering and waste management.
The changing tasks kept things exciting. The combination of theory and practice is also great - seeing a project come to life.
At K+S, you will have the opportunity to put your mining knowledge into practice from the very beginning. After a short, but intense, start-off phase in the mining division of K+S Aktiengesellschaft at our headquarters in Kassel, you will get straight down to work at one of the K+S Group’s mining sites in Germany. You will be quickly entrusted with important tasks, such as supervisory activities in one of the mining fields below ground.
Getting to know several mine sites in the business segments gives you an insight into the many different tasks of mining engineers at K+S. The personalized plan ensures that you will be able to develop your skills within the first two years. After completing the trainee program, you will begin your work at a K+S Group site, e.g. as a mining operations assistant and support the plant and mine management in the planning and control of mines, draw up operating plans and assume responsibility in individual and special projects.
