General Ledger Accountant

• You are responsible for keeping the general accounts
• You take care of the reconciliation of accounts, payroll entries, provisions, intercompany positions etc.
• You assist with all aspects of the monthly and annual closing (including the tax obligations)
• You assist with external audits and ensure that they run smoothly
• You assist with the preparation of reports and budgets
• You assist with fleet and HR management
• You have an eye for potential process improvements

In your absence, you will replace the accountant for day-to-day accounting activities such as:

• Monitoring customer and supplier accounting
• Checking the banks
• VAT declarations (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, France)
• Intrastat declaration

Vacancy: General Ledger Accountant

K+S Benelux is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to strengthen the Finance Team.
Does accounting have no secrets for you? Are figures, analyses, vat, tax, p&l etc. your thing? Then you are the new colleague we are looking for! However, the range of tasks is not limited to accounting. You will e.g. also be responsible for the leasing cars and facility. The diversity of tasks is undoubtedly also the attractivity of the position.

• Bachelor Accountancy Tax or a related financial degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• General knowledge of IFRS, Belgian GAAP, Dutch GAAP is a plus
• Experience with international intercompany transactions (but not a must)
• Excellent MS Office skills, SAP is a plus

• Very good language skills in Dutch, French, English (level B2/C1). German is a plus.
