Your Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, Learning & Talent Development, the Organizational Development Specialist provides leadership in designing and delivering talent processes and programs that add value by building workforce competency through fostering employee empowerment, growth and retention and staying committed to K+S Potash Canada’s key business drivers. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead the design, development and implementation of talent programs that maximize the potential of people, creating a competent workforce, elevating the overall employee experience
Design programs that resonate with KSPC's values, creating a positive workplace culture that attracts and retains top talent
Continuously assess and refines talent programs to adapt to evolving business needs and industry trends
Keep abreast of emerging trends in talent development, incorporating new and effective methods to keep programs fresh and appealing to employees
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify leadership and skill gaps within the organization and develop targeted development plans to address these gaps
Adapt strategies promptly to ensure successful outcomes, emphasizing a proactive and responsive approach to the evolving needs of leaders
Develops and implements programs to shape and reinforce the desired organizational culture through targeted programs and initiatives
Align engagement initiatives with KSPC’s values, fostering a culture where employees feel connected, motivated, and inspired to contribute their best
Collaborate with HRBPs and utilizes data-driven insights to understand the pulse of the organization, identifying trends and areas for improvement to enhance overall employee experience and retention
Delivers data analysis and summaries to drive decisions and measure the success of talent programs and initiatives, and design and deliver transformation initiatives and programs to build future skills
Gathers, organizes, and analyzes information regarding the impact of talent development and learning solutions against key business drivers; presenting information in a way that is meaningful to the organization
Utilizes data analytics tools and reporting systems to track and report on key performance indicators and trends related to talent development

Your Profile
Our company values and recognizes the diversity of the workforce and encourages individuals with the equivalent combination of education and work experience. The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Adult Education or related field (or equivalent combination of education and working experience)
Minimum of 8-10 years’ of Human Resources experience in the learning & development field (program development including Change Management, needs analysis, design, validation, implementation and evaluation); experience working in operations functions an asset
CPHR or other related professional certification an asset
Demonstrated knowledge and experience leveraging organizational development best practices, including learning and development, performance management, succession management, and career development
Expert knowledge employee engagement principles and strategies as well as adult education principles and understanding of adult learning and experience with practical application
Demonstrate lateral thinking and the ability to bring new ideas into talent development
Experience with surveys, people data, and analysis
Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate within our People & Communications team and leaders as well as external stakeholders
Collaborative work style with the ability to consult, solicit input, influence and support decision making with leaders, including identifying needs, developing action plans, and presenting results/recommendations
Knowledge of learning and talent management technologies, e.g. web authoring (Articulate), learning management systems (Workday preferred)
The preferred location of this position is the Bethune mine, or Saskatoon Head Office however, this position could work remotely within Canada. Flexible work arrangement will be considered.
Employment is subject to successfully completing KSPC’s pre-employment checks which may include criminal record check, education verification, functional fitness evaluation and drug and alcohol testing.
This is approximately a 15-month term position.
