Your Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, Indigenous Relations, the Student, Indigenous Relations will use their skills, creativity and knowledge in a rewarding and exciting work environment while gaining valuable work experience. You will help K+S Potash Canada (KSPC) continue to build and sustain positive relationships with local Indigenous communities.
This position will support the work of KPSC’s Indigenous Relations Policy through various approaches including community investment, recruitment initiatives and procurement practices, as well as community engagement initiatives and events.
It will also include supporting training workshops for employees as well as working with the Corporate Affairs Team to support Government Relations and Business Strategy teams to support day to day activities.
The successful candidate will:
Be a positive team-player with a strong desire to learn and collaborate as part of an integrated team.
Have ability to effectively communicate, and build/maintain strong and trusted relationships.
Assist with the activation of KSPC’s community investment program.
Support KSPC events internally and externally as they pertain to Indigenous Relations (e.g. training and community investment).
Act as a company brand champion at external events.
Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work evenings and weekends as it pertains to events.

Indigenous student currently enrolled in post-secondary studies with a focus on Business Administration, Public Administration, Indigenous Studies, Public Relations or related program at an accredited college.
Returning to full-time studies in Fall 2025.
Class 5 drivers’ license.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Travel within Saskatchewan will be required.
This position is a 4-month term starting in May 2025 based at our Bethune Mine Site. Flexible work arrangements may be considered.
This position utilizes a 4/10 schedule, and may require occasional overtime.
Employment is subject to successfully completing KSPC’s pre-employment checks which may include criminal record check, education verification, and drug and alcohol testing.
