K+S promotes social & cultural projects

We are committed to our responsibility towards people, the environment, communities, and the economies in the regions in which we operate. We support selected projects in the areas of education, social affairs, and culture. Through donations and sponsorship and our employees getting involved in charity work, we have been actively involved for many years.

Social involvement of K+S

K+S is actively involved. We provide funding for selected projects in the areas of education, social affairs, and culture. We also support our employees in getting involved in charity work and support projects by contributing material or goods. The terms and conditions for donations and sponsorship are governed by an internal guideline. K+S does not make any contributions to political parties, including their related organizations or persons.

Deeply commited to the areas where we operate

We are committed to our responsibility towards people, the environment, communities, and the economies in the regions in which we operate. In Kassel, and in the areas where our mines are located in Germany, K+S sponsors social and cultural projects, children’s and youth sports teams, and also hospitals and schools in a variety of ways.

Remuneration waiver of the Supervisory Board

Extensive donations for charitable purposes in the vicinity of K+S sites

A total of 242,000 euros will be donated to institutions such as children's hospices, food banks and healthcare organizations in Germany. A further 88,000 euros will be given to aid organizations with similar purposes at K+S sites in France, Canada, the United States of America, Chile and Brazil.
