K+S receives award as part of the IFA ISC program
The International Fertilizer Association (IFA) has awarded K+S for outstanding achievements in Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) as part of the Industry Stewardship Champions (ISC) program. K+S achieved top performance in benchmarks for safety performance, environmental performance, and energy efficiency/CO₂ emissions, and was therefore named an Industry Stewardship Champion. Since 2019, the IFA has recognized members who demonstrate exceptional commitment to SHE through the ISC program. K+S is now part of the 2024 ISC cohort, which consists of 30 fertilizer companies from 23 countries, representing global best-in-class SHE practices.
The International Fertilizer Association (IFA) was founded in 1927 and is the only global fertilizer association with around 500 members in about 80 countries. Its mission is to promote the efficient and responsible production, distribution, and use of plant nutrients. Its members include fertilizer manufacturers, traders, and distributors, as well as their associations, industry service providers, research organizations, agtech startups, and NGOs.
