The IT department manages the infrastructure and the application landscape within the company and provides the necessary support to ensure that all business processes within the K+S Group run optimally and are interlinked. To this end, new and existing applications, systems, architecture, and network systems are regularly implemented and optimized.

IT as a strategic partner
The aim of our IT organization is to act quickly and in line with requirements and to respond optimally to business requirements. The IT units are increasingly focusing on the specific needs of the specialist units, becoming business partners at eye level and comrades-in-arms on the way to new digital business models. This structure allows for making quick decisions and having short implementation times.
The following business units are working to achieve our goals within the IT organization.
IT Business Process
In cooperation with the business units, the IT Business Process unit is responsible for the development and implementation of existing and new IT solutions and applications.
IT Service Functions
The IT Service Functions unit provides the necessary know-how for services.
IT Architecture and Technology
The IT Architecture and Technology unit is responsible for designing the future IT landscape (infrastructure, applications) of the K+S Group with regard to a globally uniform IT architecture.
IT Quality Management and Governance
The IT Quality Management and Governance unit defines globally valid IT processes to ensure quality, risk management and IT security.
IT Platforms and Operations
The IT Platform and Operations unit is responsible for the deployment, operation, maintenance, support and further development of the global IT landscape.
